THE GARDEN ROUTE

The Garden Route is the spectacularly scenic coastal belt between Mossel Bay and Storms River with lakes, golden beaches, a profusion of wild flowers, numerous rivers, awesome mountain passes, nature reserves, prehistoric caves and the country's largest indigenous forest, with some trees exceeding 800 years of age. The warm waters of the Indian Ocean wash the bays, beaches, and capes, linking one town to another along the rugged coastline. The area provides endless activities including scenic walks, deep-sea fishing, water skiing, hobi cat sailing, sunset cruises, bird watching, whale and dolphin spotting, golf etc and, most importantly, lolling around .
A minimum of 3 nights is recommended.

Hunter's Country House
Hunter's Country House is a beautiful 100-year-old homestead in the heart of the garden route, situated 10 kms from Plettenberg Bay and 20 kms from Knynsa.
