DAMARALAND
This is one of Namibia's least inhabited areas of wild
rugged and rocky landscapes, home to the famous desert
elephant and one of the last refuges for the desert
black rhino.
Huab Lodge
is situated in the heart of ancient granite mountains
on the banks of the Huab River, best known as the home
of the desert elephant, in north-western Damaraland.
Accommodation for up to 24 guests is in stone bungalows
under thatch with private verandas offering magnificent
views Activities include expertly guided bush walks,
horse riding and scenic nature drives, excellent birding,
swimming in the pool, thermal spring and star gazing!
Damaraland
Camp is hidden in a valley on the northern
slopes of the Huab River in central Damaraland and offers
spectacular scenery Accommodation for 16 guests is in
shaded, walk-in tents, with en-suite facilities. Activities
include game drives, nature walks and visits to the
Twyfeltein engravings. The area is home to the black
rhino and desert adapted elephant. Swimming pool.
