INSURANCE
It is imperative that all visitors to Africa have fully comprehensive
travel insurance. Should you not wish to use the policy we
recommend, please ensure that you are covered under a similar
or superior policy that includes medical evacuation, cancellation
and curtailment, safari activities, flying in single engine
light aircrafts, as appropriate etc. Hartleys Safaris
can bear no responsibility in the event that you fail to procure
insurance cover, which is at least commensurate with that
offered by the company, and/or if you fail to procure any
insurance at all. We recommend insurance cover by Campbell
Irvine Ltd., Alma House, Alma Road, Reigate, Surrey, RH2 ODB,
(01737 223687) who offer comprehensive personal travel insurance,
subject to the terms of the certificate of insurance, and
briefly outlined as follows:

If you are 66 years of age or more, the premiums must be
doubled. Holidays booked against medical advice are not covered
under this insurance and anyone with an existing medical condition
must disclose full details to the insurers and us.
Claims on travel policies purchased through Hartleys
Safaris must be made within one month of the event, in writing
to the insurers. Hartleys Safaris will not be held responsible
for any failure to claim on your insurance within one month,
nor for any failure of your claim.
