Tongabezi is an intimate and secluded lodge set in a tranquil grove of African ebony trees on a sweeping bend of the Zambezi River. Established in 1990, it was the first river lodge on the Zambian side of Victoria Falls and is privately owned and run. The emphasis here is placed firmly on exclusivity, luxury and romance. Days at Tongabezi have no set pattern and can be spent exactly as guests wish.
Situated on the banks of the Zambezi River, ten miles upstream from the Victoria Falls.
Accommodation and facilities:
Guest accommodation, located only yards from the river, comprises five cottages and four spacious, open-planned stone and thatch houses.
