Bordering the Mosi-Oa-Tunya National Park, affording dramatic views of the spray over Victoria Falls, Stanley Safari Lodge will take you back to the Africa of the 1920’s. Accommodation and facilities:
Accommodation at the lodge is comprised of six cottages and four suites. Some of the rooms are open-sided offering guests spectacular views across the Mosi-Oa-Tunya National Park to the Zambezi River and Victoria Falls. All of the suites have their own private plunge pools and all accommodation has been individually designed and charmingly decorated using only local materials. The main house provides the setting for sumptuous French style cuisine either enjoyed indoors, al fresco, under the stars on the lawn, or in the privacy of your own cottage. The lodge boasts a superb wine cellar, with evening tastings and a superb swimming pool.
Activities:
There are many activities available from Stanley Safari Lodge, including tours of the Falls, visits to a traditional African village, horse riding and elephant back safaris.
Special attractions:
Some of the more unusual activities offered here are walking with lions and rhino tracking. When it is time to relax then the superb infinity swimming pool with its breathtaking views beckons.
