Rising mercurially from the Zambezi River, within the environs of the Victoria Falls, lie two densely forested islands. Accommodation and facilities:
This luxurious five star lodge exclusively caters for just fourteen guests in seven luxurious chalets fashioned in teak and canvas and set amongst the indigenous trees. The two islands are linked by a suspension bridge leading to an overhead walkway in the tree canopy which connects the elevated chalets. One of the distinctive features of the lodge is the excellence of its food and wines which are enjoyed in the open air dining area. Prior to, or post dinner, you may spend quiet moments around the shaded pool or relax in the comfort of the open lounge and bar.
Activities:
A host of exciting activities are available both at the lodge and in nearby Livingstone Town. Amongst others the lodge offers are elephant back safaris, canoeing, fishing and sunset cruises, village and nature trail walks and guided tours to Victoria Falls, Mosi-O-Tunya and Chobe National Parks. For the more energetic or adventurous at heart, the lodge can arrange microlighting, white water rafting, jet boating, helicopter flights, abseiling and bungee jumping.
