Kapinga Camp is a charming and atmospheric hideaway, perfectly situated to see large numbers of the indigenous Busanga plains game and predators, including wild dog, cheetah and prides of lion up to twenty strong.
Location:
Situated in the Busanga Plains in the northern part of the Kafue National Park.
Accommodation and facilities:
Accommodates a maximum of eight guests in four, delightful Meru-style luxury tents. All are en suite and include indoor and outdoor showers and overhead fans. There is a charming dining and bar area located under a canopy of majestic trees, with dinner being served here or within the traditional style boma under the stars, overlooking the Busanga Floodplains. The camp also has the benefit of a cooling plunge pool.
Activities:
Guests can enjoy game drives in the Busanga and guided night drives to discover the plethora of nocturnal species that inhabit the area. The camp also conducts specialist birding drives.
Special attractions:
Boat trips on ’Go Devil Boats’ on one of the deeper rivers can be arranged - this is a full-day activity with a picnic lunch and drinks.
