Nestling under a grove of large fig trees Busanga Bush Camp is a true rustic bush camp affording superb views of the flat, game-rich Busanga plains that surround it. Location:
Situated in the Busanga Plains in the northern part of the Kafue National Park.
Accommodation and facilities:
There are four well appointed tents which accommodate eight guests in rustic comfort. All are of canvas and have mosquito nets and are fully en suite with shower and bathroom open to the sky. The dining and bar area at Busanga are charmingly situated under a canopy of majestic trees where excellent meals and fine South African wines are served under cover or in a traditional style boma under the stars, overlooking the Busanga floodplains.
Activities:
There are numerous activities here, such as day and night game drives, walking safaris and specialist birding walks and drives in the company of qualified guides who are extremely knowledgeable about the area and its wildlife.
Special attractions:
Busanga is a birding paradise - boasting 491 species and including such rarities as wattled and crowned cranes, Fulleborn’s and rosy-throated longclaws, Lanner falcon and large flocks of open-billed and yellow-billed storks. A special treat at Busanga is the resident herd of roan antelope
