Apoka Lodge is a place of sheer wonderment, where you can sit in your outdoor bathtub under the stars, or lie on your private veranda soaking up the view - a landscape dotted with giraffe, elephant, buffalo, and zebra. Location:
Situated in the heart of the Narus Valley in the Kidepo Valley National Park.
Accommodation and facilities:
Accommodation is in ten expansive en suite rooms with natural canvas walls, each with a private, sheltered veranda. Guests can also enjoy a large comfortable sitting area with sofa and armchair. Dinner is taken in the main lodge at a long hardwood table surrounded by leather safari chairs. After the exhilaration of the day’s activities, guests can enjoy a cooling dip in the lodge’s superb swimming pool.
Activities:
Activities include day and night time game drives, informative guided walks, extensive birding and photographic opportunities and visits to the local Karamajong community.
Special attractions:
At Apoka guests can walk with trained guides, tracking game along a sandy dry riverbed or dive off a huge boulder into Uganda’s only rock pool…and watch the animals at their watering hole at the same time.
