Breezes Beach Club is situated on the south east coast of Zanzibar along an untouched beach stretching as far as the eye can see and possesses a unique charm and elegance all of its own. It enjoys a well founded reputation for providing first class levels of service, tasteful décor and fabulous food. This is a relaxed retreat for people in search of peace and quiet…the ultimate place to get away from it all. The hotel is beautifully decorated with a wonderful mix of hand carved furniture, unique Zanzibar antiques, beautiful fabrics and innovative use of natural materials. Accommodation is offered in three categories - Standard, Deluxe and Suites. Standard rooms are located further away from the sea and have a terrace and garden view. Deluxe rooms are located in the ground floor of bungalows with a terrace and an ocean view. In terms of décor and size, standard and deluxe rooms are identical.
The suites are on the upper floor of the bungalows and enjoy a large balcony and private sunbathing area with sun beds; a large covered outdoor lounge area and also feature walk-in dressing rooms and larger bathrooms. Each room is tastefully decorated in ivory tones, with cotton throws, teak wood finishes and hand-crafted Zanzibar carvings. All rooms are fully air-conditioned with en-suite bathrooms and also have a third sofa bed.
Zanzibar is famous for its abundant variety of exotic spices and seafood delicacies found in the untouched waters of the surrounding ocean. The hotel chefs prepare a delicious variety of cuisine incorporating traditional Zanzibari elements. There are four distinct restaurants for you to choose from:
The Tides Restaurant - offering private beach front dining for two in an intimate setting overlooking the Indian Ocean. The Sultan’s Table - also with stunning ocean views, serves wonderful dishes with a fusion of Indian and Swahili flavours. The Salama Restaurant - here you can enjoy a full breakfast buffet in the morning sunshine.
The Breakers Grill - on the beach front, under the shade of the palm trees, you can sample the ’fresh catch of the day’ and a superb barbecue. Breezes also offer a choice of five different bars to enjoy and relax in - whether for an exotic cocktail, afternoon tea, a pre-dinner drink or a relaxing shisha after dinner, Breezes will certainly spoil you with choice!
