Nomad Tarangire is a delightful eight bed camp in Tarangire National Park. This small ’Bedouin’ style camp offers the ultimate all round Tarangire experience ranging from game drives in the key game spot to exciting walking safaris and fly camping expeditions within the remote wilderness areas of the park .The landscape is famous for its baobab trees which are scattered throughout the park. It’s a strong, rolling wilderness that over the last hundred years has earned the respect of the bush-wise, first as a hunting ground, and more recently as a vital wildlife sanctuary in Tanzania’s Great Rift Valley.
Location:
Nomad Tarangire moves between a number of selected campsites towards the remoter southern section of the
park, from which both the game rich Tarangire river and the wilderness walking areas of the park are equally accessible.
Accommodation and facilities:
Four uniquely designed ’Bedouin style’ safari tents - the inner tent area with large comfortable beds, optional roll down canvas sides and shade netting. The outer ‘living’ area is also netted with roll down sides, kilim rugs, a screened dressing area and en-suite bathroom. Flush toilets and traditional bucket showers with hot and cold water available on demand. The mess and dining tent is spacious and welcoming, and ideal for spending
a relaxed afternoon in the library/lounge area.
