For over forty years Ndutu Safari Lodge has become the chosen location of many professional wildlife photographers and film-makers. Nestling peacefully beneath a canopy of giant acacias overlooking the waters of Lake Ndutu, it is the perfect base to explore the short grass plains of the Serengeti and the surrounding wildlife rich swamps and woodlands of the area - then between November and February the excitement of the mighty wildebeest migration!
Location:
Situated in the Ngorongoro Conservation Area in the southern Serengeti bordering the Serengeti National Park.
Accommodation and facilities:
Thirty four delightful stone cottages extending from a central, open-sided bar, lounge and dining room. Each fully en suite cottage has its own veranda overlooking Lake Ndutu. Four of the cottages have king size beds, with the remainder offering two singles. The lodge is particularly recognised for its excellent quality home cooking with vegetables from local farmers in the area.
Activities:
Day and night game drives, birding, guided walks and fabulous photographic opportunities.

There are no fences around and wild animals wander through at all hours of day and night offering guests the ultimate (safe) safari experience!
