Nomad Mobile Safari

A Nomad Wilderness Mobile Safari is the perfect way to enjoy an authentic bush experience. This is how safaris used to be - a rare chance for roving adventure and true mobility. The nomadic nature of this camp means that you can explore the length and breadth of the Serengeti ecosystem over the course of a leisurely week, or dip in to several different parks and protected areas in Northern Tanzania.

As you move, so does your camp and each evening you will be welcomed by familiar faces, no matter how much the setting has changed. The camp is serviced by a dedicated crew of seasoned professionals who pack up the camp, relocate and set it up again in time for your arrival in the evening. The camp is only available on an exclusive basis with your own private guide and 4x4 vehicle, so you have complete freedom to plan totally flexible safari itineraries each day.

Designed primarily as a base for exploring remoter areas, with the emphasis on walking (where allowed) as well as game drives, the camp is light and simple, yet perfectly comfortable. There are four, well equipped, walk-in tents with two cot beds and a bathroom set at the rear with short drop toilets and bucket showers. There is a dining tent with a varied bar or you can dine al fresco under a canopy of glittering stars. The food is excellent, the fire place relaxing and the ambience perfect.

Your camp will roam through northern Tanzania, mainly within the national parks and community areas including Tarangire, Manyara, Ngorongoro Crater, Serengeti and Loliondo. The range of activities you will experience on the adventure include private day and night (where allowed) game drives in open 4x4 vehicles, birding, picnics and bush dinners. Walking, cultural and archaeological activities will also be available where regulations allow.
