Located near the village of Usa River - a twenty-minute drive from Arusha.
Accommodation and facilities:
Accommodates up to twenty four guests in ten tastefully decorated self contained rooms located in the main farmhouse or within the spacious gardens. There are two ’River Cottages’ offering private decks and wood burning fire places. Dining is excellent and offers country cuisine, using fresh fruit, herbs and vegetables grown in the Rivertrees gardens and is enjoyed in the chandelier lit dining room. There is a refreshing swimming pool located near the river and a small gift shop.
Activities:
Rivertrees is a birders paradise, being home to a plethora of spectacular birdlife. Horseback riding in the surrounding countryside can be arranged on either a short excursion or, with prior booking, on a longer trail basis. Visits to a neighbouring village to view the local culture, a colourful craft market or a coffee plantation can also be arranged if booked ahead.

When the batteries are recharged, in nearby Arusha, guests can enjoy golf, a modern gym, tennis and squash courts as well as a visit to the museum, casino and local night clubs.
