Location:
Approximately five miles from the town of Arusha and about twenty five miles from Kilimanjaro International Airport.
Accommodation and facilities:
Guests are accommodated in forty delightful and charmingly appointed en suite cottages, each with their own veranda. The main building has a dining room and bar, and guests can also dine on the veranda and enjoy the impressive view of Mount Meru. Room service is also available. There is a swimming pool set amongst the tropical trees and coffee plants in the gardens, and a children’s playground. There are conference and internet facilities available and a massage room.
Activities:
Cultural tours, nature trail, cycling and mountain biking, horse riding, trips to the local market, day trips to Arusha National Park and canoe outings. There is also a nine hole golf course at the foot of Mount Meru.
Special attractions:
One particularly interesting and diverse way to spend a morning or afternoon at Moivaro is on a visit to the local banana beer brewery (samples always available!).
