Lanzerac Manor and Winery sits exclusively on a private working wine estate in the world famous Jonkershoek Valley surrounded by the dramatic Helderberg mountains. The rooms, restaurants, bar, lounge and facilities are all located in the Estate’s 300 year old Manor House and out-buildings set amongst 10 hectares of award-winning landscaped gardens featuring numerous ancient oaks. This is the centre of the famous South African wine producing areas of Stellenbosch, Paarl, Franschhoek and Somerset West, and very close to numerous golf courses and the beaches of the Strand, Gordon’s Bay and Cape Town. Here, attention to detail is the order of the day and the highest standard of service is maintained as guests simply relax and make the most of the many facilities.
All forty eight elegant, en suite rooms are individually decorated and feature a private patio overlooking the vineyards or sculpted gardens. Each includes air conditioning, under floor heating, separate bath and shower room, electronic safe, mini bar and satellite TV.

You can enjoy French and Mediterranean cuisine at the main a la carte Governers restaurant or visit The Lanzerac Terrace, a casual shaded terrace overlooking the Manor House. The Lady Anne Courtyard, an elegant Mediterranean courtyard located adjacent to The Governors Restaurant, offers an equally delicious array of gastronomic delights.
Activities here are numerous and include golfing, swimming (three private pools), hiking, mountain biking, walks through the magnificent grounds of the estate and historical walks through the town of Stellenbosch. The hotel is within easy reach of the Cape’s most celebrated wine farms, golf courses and beaches. A wide variety of tours are available to cater for individual requirements.
