Bushman’s Kloof is a privately owned wilderness reserve located at the foot of the Cederberg Mountains in the Western Cape. It is world renowned for its 130 rock art sites. In recognition of its rich cultural, historical and environmental significance, Bushman’s Kloof has been declared a South African Natural Heritage site. Nestled between the majestic mountains of the Cederberg and the vast plains of the Great Karoo, this is the very heart of the African wilderness - immense open plains, deep ravines, spectacular waterfalls and prehistoric rock formations characterise this ecological oasis just 170 miles north of Cape Town. Once the hunting ground of the intrepid San, Bushman’s Kloof is home to an incredible variety of wildlife and plant species, and is a premier spring flower destination and offers a most exquisite safari experience.
