Leopard Hills is a quite unique and truly fascinating lodge of outstanding charm and understated elegance. The brainchild of the Kruger family, who are the owners to this day, it first opened its doors in 1998 with five suites and has recently added private heated plunge pools, a library, three more suites, a traditional Shangaan boma, gym and sala, to create one of Africa’s finest five star lodge.
Location:
Situated in the western sector of the Sabi Sand Game Reserve, which forms part of the greater Kruger National Park.
Accommodation and facilities:
Eight luxurious glass-fronted suites complete with a private sundeck and heated rock plunge pool. Each air-conditioned suite has exquisite bathrooms including double indoor and outdoor showers with windows opening to glorious views of the magnificent surrounding bushveld. All include a sumptuous lounge area equipped with a comfortable couch and ottoman. Whilst dining, guests will experience ‘soul food’ full of decadent flavours from around the world, finishing with a touch of Africa in every meal. After the delights of dinner, the bar and lounge is perfect a pre or post-dinner drink or a nightcap - the perfect way to the end of a perfect day!
Activities:
Early morning and late afternoon/evening game drives in state-of-the-art landrovers, specifically designed for Leopard Hills. Fantastic wildlife photography opportunities and accompanied walking safaris. Helicopter trips and cultural tours are also available.
Special Attractions:
A new addition to Leopard Hills is the treatment sala and gym which prove very popular with guests after an exciting day on safari. What better way to relax and wind down work than with an array of massage treatments in the glass-fronted sala.
