On the borders of the Kruger National Park and situated between the Timbavati and the Sabi Sand Reserves, the Manyeleti Reserve is home to Honeyguide’s two tented camps, Khoka Moya Camp and Mantobeni Camp. This is ’Big Five’ country and captures the very essence of Hemingway’s Africa!
Location:
Situated in the Manyeleti Game Reserve.
Accommodation and facilities:
Mantobeni Camp is a twelve tented camp nestling within a delightful Tamboti grove overlooking a dry river bed. The reception areas comprise a large sitting area, indoor and outdoor areas, bar and climate controlled wine cellar. Game visiting the nearby watering hole can be seen from the swimming pool deck adjoining the reception areas. The tents are comfortably furnished with king-sized beds and soft leather couches. Each tent leads onto its own bathroom with concrete bath, double shower and separate toilet.
Khoka Moya comprises twelve large tents furnished in a contemporary yet comfortable style. Each tent is en suite with double shower and separate toilet. A private outdoor seating area in front of each tent allows guests to relax and take in the sights and sounds of the bush.
Activities:
Safaris in open game drive vehicles, led by experienced and qualified guides and trackers, are conducted in the early mornings and late afternoon and evening. A foot safari is undertaken after breakfast, with emphasis on the abundant bird, insect and plant life surrounding the camps. Guests may also choose to relax by the pool or browse through the small library at each camp.
Special attractions:
Khoka Moya Camp offers an educational programme for children mainly safari-orientated, sharing the knowledge and wonders of Africa.
