Illyria House is an exclusive colonial style manor house, beautifully set high on the ridge in one of Pretoria’s most exclusive suburbs within delightful tranquil gardens, overlooking the historical Jacaranda City and the famous Union Buildings. The house is a ‘hidden gem’, resplendent in a plethora of seventeenth century tapestries and the most exquisite French antiques.
Guests are hosted in six en suite double bedrooms, all lavishly appointed with crystal chandeliers, heavy silk bedcovers and sumptuous furnishings. By limiting accommodation to just twelve guests, each is assured of exceptional personalised service.
There is a beautifully appointed dining room but no set menu - as the butler and chef will discuss your preferences on a daily basis and then shop just for you. Needless to say, the resulting meals are all perfectly created and personalised to your own individual tastes and accompanied by the finest selection of wines.
