Location:
Situated in the Samara Game Reserve on the plains of Camdeboo, in the Great Karoo, Eastern Cape,

Accommodation and facilities:
Karoo Lodge consists of three luxury suites within the lodge and three private Karoo Suites separate from the lodge. All of the suites are developed to the same high standard and have similar traditional Karoo décor. Each suite is complete with a large en-suite bathroom and shower, air-conditioning, mini bar, fridge and private porch. Karoo Lodge can accommodate up to twelve guests, keeping it intimate and exclusive. Whether you dine in the boma, under the stars or picnic overlooking the romantic plains of Camdeboo, you will savour the flavours of our mouth-watering cuisine hand selected and produced from our Karoo kitchen.

Activities:
Activities include game drives in open game drive vehicles, guided walks, bird watching and cheetah tracking by foot.

Special attractions:
Children under 12 years are most welcome here and children’s activities are arranged. There are extensive birding and photographic opportunities. Guests also have the opportunity to view San Bushman paintings or fossils dating back 250 million years.
