Enjoying a unique setting away from the beach on high ground that affords stunning views of the surrounding islands, Chateau de Feuilles is located inland on the southern end of Praslin Island discreetly hidden amongst granite rocks and lush tropical forest.
Guest accommodation in this Relais and Chateaux establishment is limited to just nine rooms comprising bungalows, apartments, junior suites and villas all exquisitely appointed and offering the highest levels of service and amenities. Each tastefully decorated room is fitted with air conditioning (except apartments), overhead fan, living room area, desk, mini-bar, personal safe, tea and coffee-making facilities, T.V. video and DVD player, telephone with personal incoming line, internet access, hair dryer and radio.
Dining here is a gastronome’s delight, with the restaurant serving some of the most innovative and refined cuisine in the Seychelles including such specialties as fried giraffe crab, crayfish grilled with garlic butter and fillets of Job with a superb Creole sauce.
The swimming pool is set amongst swaying palms and frangipanis and there is also an outdoor jacuzzi situated high up on a headland allowing unforgettable views of the surrounding islands.
Boasting one of the most beautiful beaches in the world, Grande Soeur is the sister island of Chateau de Feuilles and as the island is only reserved for clients of the Chateau at the weekends, you can enjoy totally exclusive snorkelling or diving with a lunch-time barbecue prepared by chef!
The Chateau will also organise helicopter rides to neighbouring islands and visits to the nearby eighteen hole golf course. For those who just want to relax it is a short walk to the white sand beach or you can enjoy a relaxing massage and some extra pampering at the Chateau’s spa. The lodge also works with a scuba diving centre, which employs fully qualified staff who can ensure an unbelievable and magical insight into the Seychelles’ fascinating marine world.
