Situated in the extreme north-west of Namibia, Serra Cafema Camp is one of the most remote destinations in all of Africa and as such offers one of the most memorable safari experiences. Perched on the banks of the Kunene River under large, shady Albida trees this is an intimate, rustic and peaceful camp which shares its location with the wonderful and colourful Himba people, some of the last true nomadic people of Africa.
The camp has nine canvas and thatched fully furnished chalets built on decks, each with its own en suite bathroom facilities. There is a communal dining room and bar and a small swimming pool in which to refresh yourself after the adventures of the day.
There are a variety of activities to explore the breathtaking landscape; these include traversing the sand dunes on carefully guided quad-bike excursions that tread lightly on the dunes and boating on the Kunene River. Walking in the remote mountain and river valleys is also a highlight.
