This is an unrivalled opportunity to enjoy private camping, desert-chic style, in Namibia’s exclusive wilderness areas on an exhilarating 13 day Thirstland Expedition. Your time is spent discovering Namibia’s Waterberg Plateau, Eastern and Western Etosha National Park, Damaraland, Swakopmund and the Namib Desert.
Accommodation is in classic, spacious domed tents with comfortable beds, bedside tables, lamps and hand basins. The shared enclosure houses hot bucket showers and toilets. Eight nights are spent camping and four nights in lodges or guesthouses. Your hosts will include professional guides, personal chef and a number of camp and back up staff.
You will have the chance to enjoy such activities as game drives in air-conditioned 4x4 safari vehicles and professionally guided bush walks revealing the many endemic bird species and a unique opportunity to see the desert-adapted rhino and elephant.
