Nestling amongst tall Tamboti trees on the edge of the Etosha National Park, this is an enchanting and intimate camp, and being owner-run, special care is taken to offer you a personalised and friendly service.
Location:
Situated on a 700 hectare property adjacent to the Etosha National Park.
Accommodation and facilities:
Accommodates twenty guests in ten thatched en suite bungalows. Each bungalow has a large veranda from where you can observe the tree squirrels, bush babies and a wide variety of birdlife. Meals are taken in the open dining area with outstanding cuisine which includes local game and beef. If the rains have been good, there may be Omajova mushrooms which are freshly harvested from the termite hills in the area, or Kalahari truffles brought from the red sand of the east of Namibia. The main area includes a reception area, curio shop, bar and lounge and a thatched lapa with an adjoining swimming pool.
Activities:
Activities include evening game drives, full-day trips into Etosha, wildlife walks, visits to one of the hides on the reserve and excellent photographic opportunities.
Special attractions:
One of the most exhilarating and interesting experiences for guests here is tracking white rhino on foot accompanied by an armed guide.
