Built on elevated wooden stilts, overlooking the silken white shores and tranquil and turquoise waters of Flamingo Bay, Marlin Lodge is a place to relax, unwind and bask in the delicious ambience of a true African paradise. Accommodation here is comprised of luxury chalets categorised as Classic Chalets, Luxury Chalets, Luxury Suites and Executive Suites. All are equipped with en suite bathrooms, private patios, and a walkway to the beach. Rooms and suites are decorated with a hue of creams, browns and light blues. Honeymoon couples can enjoy private dinners on the beach and a special bush bath – a large metal bath filled with flower petals and bubbles – and enclosed with huge palm leaves. When it is time for dinner, guests can indulge in delicious cuisine which is a blend of Afro-Asian and Portuguese cuisine, served either in a spacious open-deck dining room, on the beach under the African stars or on your own patio.
Activities:
The lodge has a fully equipped dive centre and a PADI dive instructor, so guests can enjoy excellent diving and snorkelling. Guests can also make use of the fishing boats for some deep sea fishing. Other activities include day trips to neighbouring islands, yacht cruises and private picnics on the southern and northern points of Benguerra Island. There are also a number of complementary non-motorised water sports available at Marlin Lodge. The Gatineau Spa offers various wellness and beauty treatments including facials, full body massages and much more.
