Lebala Camp is a contrasting haven of elegance and luxury in a landscape that is dominated by vast plains, scattered palms and tree clumps backed by wooded savannahs. This is the epitome of ’untamed’ Africa where the abundant wildlife roam free in a private, unfenced wilderness. At Lebala you will become a part of their domain and experience Africa as it was and always should be.
Location:
Situated in the South of the Kwando Reserve, adjacent to the head waters of the Linyanti marshes.
Accommodation and facilities:
Eight tents, designed specifically for this camp, each one built on a raised teak deck with an entrance foyer, en suite bathroom and private sundeck. Dinner is served in the open-sided dining room where you will be served the most delicious, mouth-watering meals prepared by the resident chefs. After the day’s exertions and excursions Lebala has a swimming pool for you to take a refreshing swim.
Activities:
Game drives, boat cruises, fishing, superb photography opportunities and excellent birding.
Special attractions:
One of its most charming features are the nightly camp fire ’nightcaps’, after which you retire to drift off to sleep, often hearing hippo grazing out of water near your tent - a true taste of the real Africa!
