Xugana Island Lodge is a haven of peace and tranquillity nestled delightfully in the shade of wild ebony and garcinia trees in the very heart of the Okavango Delta. Reflecting not just the crystal clear, sparkling delta waters, but the tranquillity and timeless pace of a bygone era when the Bush people hunted this pristine water world.

Situated in the Okavango Delta in Northern Botswana.
Accommodation and facilities:
The lodge accommodates sixteen guests in raised, reed and thatch cottages. Each en suite cottage has twin or double beds, walk in showers, overhead fans and a private deck and viewing area. There is a delightful open thatched bar and dining area set under a fig and leadwood tree canopy which is renowned for its quality of cuisine and a refreshing swimming pool located amongst the gardens in the centre of the island.

Boat safaris, mokoro (dugout canoe) trips, walking safaris, birding and fishing.
Special attractions:
Xugana is particularly noted for its mokoro trips in eco-friendly dugout canoes to surrounding lagoons and islands in the concession. These, combined with walking, give guests the chance to experience a classic Delta safari. Bird-watching opportunities are outstanding as is the fishing for bream and tiger fish.
