Nxamaseri is an intimate luxurious lodge built on a heavily wooded island in the ’Panhandle’ of the Okavango Delta, surrounded by tranquil river channels and expansive floodplains.
Over the past twenty years, Nxamaseri Fishing Camp has earned the enviable reputation for being one of Southern Africa’s premier destinations for lure and fly-fishing for both Tiger Fish and Bream. Amongst its many accolades is its inclusion in a book nominating the top fly-fishing destinations throughout the world, it being the only African destination to be included. The Tiger Fish is Africa’s most sought after angling species, and particularly during the peak season months of August to December, the waters around Nxamaseri provide excellent catches in both size and number. Both Tiger Fish and Bream are caught throughout the year. Other species caught are African Pike and Catfish. Guests are provided with all fishing equipment, but are welcome to bring their own.
