Elephant Valley Lodge offers the ’classic’ safari experience - the thrill of sighting great game and the traditional atmosphere of sleeping under canvas. The only difference is that the levels of personalised service and comforts far outweigh those of the original pioneers. Elephant Valley gives you the chance to view the highest concentration of elephant in the world whilst enjoying the creature comforts of the modern day.
Location:
Elephant Valley Lodge is situated in the Lesoma Valley which lies in the heart of the Kasane Forest Reserve.
Accommodation and facilities:
Elephant Valley accommodation comprises of twenty luxury Meru style tents, each features twin beds, ensuite shower and toilet, mini safe and fan. Meals are a unique blend of African home style cooking, which are served outside under the starlit sky or in the indoor bar and dining complex overlooking the waterhole. The camp also has a curio shop and a refreshing swimming pool.
Activities:
Boat cruises along the beautiful Chobe River, game drives in search of the Big Five, personally guided bush walks, and night drives in the Lesoma Valley. It is also possible to arrange a stop at The Victoria Falls en route to camp on request.
Special attractions:
The lodge has a very active waterhole frequented by numerous wildlife, including elephant, lion, buffalo, and leopard. These sightings present superb photographic opportunities from the comfort and safety of the viewing hide or the lodge’s main deck areas.
